Triple Click Fraud Protection


There are three ways Third Marble can help prevent Click Fraud:

  1. Google's click fraud protection
  2. ClickCease software
  3. Our proprietary list of known spam IP Addresses


Google's system is relatively robust and can block most known spam IP addresses from clicking on your Ads. When Google detects a fraud click, they will issue a refund for that click. This feature is included with all Google Ads accounts.


ClickCease has a much more strict set of rules for blocking click fraud - to include clicks from competitors that may regularly click on your Ads. 


Third Marble's IP Exclusion list includes IP Addresses that we've seen repeatedly click on a wide variety of our client's Ads.

How Much Is ClickCease at ThirdMarble?


There is a One-Time Set Up Fee of $200 & a Monthly Fee of $29.


When you sign up for ClickCease with us, we create the account under our agency, install the tracking code on your website (website access is required), and link the ClickCease account to your Google Ads account. By singing up with us, you're getting more than a 50% discount then if you purchased it directly from ClickCease on your own.

Do I Need Advanced Click Fraud Protection?


In general, smaller accounts that advertise locally may not get an immediate benefit from click fraud protection. If you have a small budget of only $300 / month, you might only save $20 per month in click costs. So the break-even would be around ten months. If you think Google Ads will be a long-term strategy for your business, then we would recommend the investment.


If you have a larger budget, or your average click cost is more than $10 per click, we recommend adding ClickCease since the payback will most likely only take a month or two.

How Do I Sign Up for ClickCease?


If you are currently a Google Ads Management client and we've completed your setup. You can ask your Account Manager to add ClickCease to your Google Ads account. We'll invoice you for the setup fee and complete the installation.


If you ever need to know how many clicks have been blocked, let your Account Manager know, and they can look up that information for you.
